The lodge features a barbecue. First things first: Claire and Butch are the most friendly and warm hearted hosts that you can even imagine. Me and my wife, we travel a lot and we we have experienced some really good home stays, but, no where so far we have felt as much at home and so warmly welcomed like in Baleh Bobleh (the home in the village). The hosts are extremely child friendly and supported us in about anything. We have stayed in a traditional Ifugao Pole house, which however was equpped with amenities of modern times. Beds, room and bathroom really clean and the beautiful garden around our hut was like a little paradise. Claire is an excellent cook and we never felt that anything was lacking.

We chose it because of the idyllic atmosphere and privacy. The highest standard of equipment and extremely maintained cleanliness. The staff is at your disposal all the time. The price very good. Each of the houses equipped with a small garden with a private pool and a full kitchen - in our opinion the top location in El Nido.

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge. We had a great time at Alta Cabana in Bucana, Palawan. John Dee, the host, was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay - And we had a lot of fun together! He organized transport and mopeds for us, making everything more convenient. On our last day, he even gave us a ride to El Nido, which was much appreciated. The breakfast was tasty, especially the pancakes, and the dinner we shared with John Dee was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. He’s a really good cook! The cabanas were small but comfortable, and it was a simple yet pleasant experience and. The aircondition worked perfectly. The location is peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido town. It’s just a 5-minute moped ride to Duli Beach, which was perfect for us. We’re excited to see how John Dee’s place develops in the future and would love to come back!
