Hidden Valley is a real gem for those seeking a relaxing paradise stay away from the mainstream tourism. Here you can truly relax. The bed is superb, the staff as well as the owner friendly and attentive. The restaurant area offers spectacular views as well as really good meals (the best we had during a whole month in the Philippines) and friendly service. Eating here is truly a joy. If you want to explore the island you can rent a scooter here for a good price. Expetional value for money! If I come back to Siquijor I will book this place again!

A terrace is available on site and both snorkelling and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The service was absolutely incredible - not to overinflate expectations, but the service was concierge level great. The guests who stay here skew a bit younger, it seemed like this is a place backpackers can go for a bit of luxury, privacy, and peace. Everything they booked for us from massage to tricycles to cross-island transport was amazing (and very reasonably priced), and they clearly have a great network. These are really honest people, with such great hospitality, I would trust them with anything. They don't have a full service restaurant on site yet (they have a small kitchen where they make breakfast and sammies), but there's a local restaurant that delivers right to your room, and it was DELICIOUS. It was so nice to enjoy delicious Filipino food from the comfort of our own "home". The dogs and cats that live here are also SO sweet, I really enjoyed when they would visit us on the porch as we relaxed in the morning or evening. They always made accommodations for us to have an early breakfast when our tour picked us up before breakfast officially started, which I appreciated so much! There's no AC, but it really wasn't a problem, since there were 2 very powerful fans in the room (we actually got cold and had to turn one of them off in the middle of the night), and the structure of the cottages makes for really good ventilation. The location was also perfect for us. It's outside of the hustle of central moalboal, a bit in some farmlands but still only a 10 minute tricycle ride away from town. When we woke up early for jetlag, we'd go to the crows nest in the social area, make ourselves some self serve coffee (free and available 24/7), and watch the sun rise while the neighbors brought out their cows and goats to graze. Every single thing here is amazing and I can't recommend it enough.

Skott's is a boutique accommodation in the quiet part of Santa Fe. The accommodation is only a couple minutes walk to one can argue to be one of the best beach in Santa Fe. Uncrowded and clean. The accommodation exceeded my expectations with regards to room size and comfort, cleanliness and most of all the friendliness and accommodating staff. Special thanks to Liza & Jimmy who made us feel welcomed and goes out of their way to ensure our stay is very comfortable and relaxed. These two elevated our stay to a level that makes us want to return to Skott's Comfy Lodge.

If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a bicycle rental service. The owner is very kind and honest. I feel like I could trust her out of the other locals I encountered. Her husband gave me a ride from the Sumillion Island Resort. She also asked a security (her neighbor) to drop me back at the hotel. She is so nice because I was not charged for the rides. The bed is soft and room just really great for solo traveling.

Baclayon Church is 21 km from the lodge. Bohol-Panglao International Airport is 2 km from the property. My stay in Tavern rooms was great! The room is spacious, everything was clean, the location is great. Close the tourist area, but far from the noise. But close to many restaurants and to the beach. The air conditioner worked really well, tv, and fridge. You have a table and chair, place to put your things. I could wash my clothes and had a place to hang outside to dry. Bed and pillows comfortable. The front porch in each room is very convenient. The only problem was the internet that didn’t work very well. Sheilla, the host, was completely amazing, very helpful, available and kind. Is possible to go to tours with good prices and she can take you there.

FN Lodge - town proper has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Palompon.

Fitted with a terrace, the units offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. A fridge and kettle are also available. We loved the clean and tidy room with a large fridge and good AC with fan. Central location close to Mr D restaurant which has great food and cold beer. Close to the port so easy if you are travelling to Bogo City. We only stayed one night but have stated longer if we had time. Friendly owners and the best placed we stayed as it was hotel number 4 for us in 5 days. Highly recommend, first class.
