Peaceful & quiet, it's easy to relax. The tourist attractions around are mostly natural places where we can observe nature and animals. We'll surely come back for relaxing!

When we arrived, it looked like it was in the middle of nowhere, but it turned out to be only a 10 min walk to the beach. The owners are amazing and nothing is too much. The silence but especially the thought of considering the environment completed everything.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. This was such a magical place. Having your own cabin in such peaceful surroundings is wonderful. The staff were really friendly and everything was perfect. We only stayed for one night and did wonderful before if it was worth travelling from Cebu city for the one night. It completely was, two nights would have also been amazing but one night was great. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very big.

There is a private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. The food was the highlight of our stay! Meg is a ridiculously good cook. Even if you don't stay here, eat here! Best food we had in the Philippines. By far. The view while we ate our food was pretty spectacular as well. The room was large and clean and they cleaned it daily which was great. Staff is super friendly.

Mactan-Cebu International Airport is 133 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We didn't have breakfast, but did have coffee and loved the relaxing porch and kind hosts! Our stay was very last minute due to a mistake by another hotel and Arriyus Apartelle kindly gave us a room and even allowed us a very unconventionally late check-in as our flight was delayed. They helped us with our ferry to Malapascua and back and our taxi both ways, even though we only stayed the one, unexpected night! I cannot say enough great things about this place and these people!

If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a bicycle rental service. The owner is very kind and honest. I feel like I could trust her out of the other locals I encountered. Her husband gave me a ride from the Sumillion Island Resort. She also asked a security (her neighbor) to drop me back at the hotel. She is so nice because I was not charged for the rides. The bed is soft and room just really great for solo traveling.

Baclayon Church is 21 km from the lodge. Bohol-Panglao International Airport is 2 km from the property. My stay in Tavern rooms was great! The room is spacious, everything was clean, the location is great. Close the tourist area, but far from the noise. But close to many restaurants and to the beach. The air conditioner worked really well, tv, and fridge. You have a table and chair, place to put your things. I could wash my clothes and had a place to hang outside to dry. Bed and pillows comfortable. The front porch in each room is very convenient. The only problem was the internet that didn’t work very well. Sheilla, the host, was completely amazing, very helpful, available and kind. Is possible to go to tours with good prices and she can take you there.

FN Lodge - town proper has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Palompon.
