Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine.

The tastefully decorated chalets are fully equipped and some of them offer views. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. After a very warm reception, we went to our room which was exceptional in every aspect (special mention to the heating blanket against the cold). The place is calm and beautiful, next to graskop for restaurant and to some of the most famous places in the region. The optional breakfast is a must try, and we had some very useful insights from our host about the region, what road to take... I would gladly come back in the future, thanks for eveything :)

The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a microwave, and a private bathroom with shower. There is also a stovetop, toaster and a kettle. Very peaceful and lovely. River runs next to the property and there was an easy river walk. Also property has a waterfall hike (we did not hike it). Shawn and Logan are wonderful hosts and take good care of their guests, giving restaurant recommendations and cooking a yummy breakfast. Area has lots of waterfalls and is about an hour to Blyde Canyon activities. We would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in the area.

Had a great stay at Thaba Tsweni Lodge. It's peaceful, located on the beautiful Panorama Route, with spacious and clean accommodations. The owner’s tips were very helpful. Highly recommended!
