The pet-friendly lodge offers a barbecue. We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks Julian!

Duck and Elsabe are a beautiful couple. They have put some much love and attention to the place and also made us feel like home. We enjoyed their beautiful garden, so so special it was!! And after our stay they also helped us with the flat tires that we had. Really appreciate all the help and the stay. Thankyou very much 😊

Guests can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and nature reserves. Beautiful location with stunning views and nice walking trails. The cabins were very cosy. At night it got quite cold, but there was a fireplace in the bedroom and the staff put warm water bottles in the beds. The meals were great and so were the staff and the dogs! We had a great time here, highly recommended!

There are bicycles available for guests to rent, and guests can relax in the garden. The Montusi Mountain Lodge is really beautiful. The lodge is beautifully located and elegantly designed. We enjoyed the scenic view so much. The bungalows are well maintained. It was really cozy in there. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast & dinner was the best we have had in ZA so far. We wish, we could have stayed longer!

Gowrie Farm Golf Lodge serves a breakfast buffet and a few restaurants serving a variety of local and international cuisines can be found within 7 km. Packed lunches are available upon request. Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, our check in and out was a pleasure, our room was clean and very comfortable, the outlook was fantastic and our breakfast was exceptional as was the service. The overall decor was lovely too! We certainly hope to return again.

Elegantly decorated, accommodation at Winterton includes a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Some come with a kitchen or kitchenette, while others have a spa bath. We had such a relaxing stay at Winterton Country Lodge. The room was so thoughtfully and elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the many extra blankets, the aircon & the electric blankets that kept us warm on the chilly nights. It was also lovely and quiet since the rooms are far off the road. There are generous common spaces and a large tv in the common lounge across from the bar that the owner said could be opened until 9pm. We also loved the freshly made breakfast. We’ll definitely be back the next time we come hiking in the Drakensberg!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We loved this lucky find - River Bend Farm was just gorgeous- the endless views of hills, trees and river are stunning. The accommodation is super comfortable and the shower was bliss! Jenny and Earl were so welcoming, friendly and really passionate about this beautiful area! Thank you for a wonderful visit-we will be back!
