My stay at Umkomaas Lodge was absolutely amazing. I booked for 2 days then decided to extend for a further 4 days. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The lodge is right on the beach so easy access to the beach and restaurant. The ocean view from the room was spectacular and I cannot wait to go back. From Chris.

It was a lovely visit. The lodge is rustic and homely in the best ways and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very comfortable, 3 min walk to the beach and the hosts were amazing! Some of the roads in Pennington are a rough and have a few potholes, so for any future visitors, just drive carefully and preferably don't take a very low to the ground car. Was a great weekend stay, we'll definitely be back!

The location was good the lodge is centrally located close to the pier. Margate Mall is just around the corner and there's a Jet, Shoprite and Pep stores close by. Also banks and restaurants are within walking distance. I bought food outside and didn't have any meals at the restaurant. The cleaning lady Happiness was super and she gave me extra coffee, tea and sugar.

No breakfast eaten at the lodge, however this guesthoyse is a gem. Our room and bathroom was enormous and the view was breathtaking. Although it is located in a slightly older part of the town, it is certainly worth visiting and unbelievably well priced.
