The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The tented accommodation was SO comfortable private and atmospheric. Wonderful facilities, shower etc and just a short walk to the dining/ bar. Also 2 swimming pools both lovely. The package we took included a safari daily, accom and meals. The food was excellent, the chef went to endless trouble to offer delicious and interesting meals every day. Transfers were excellent, on time and efficient. We also took the Panorama Tour which gave us a look at the fabulous scenery and geographic marvels of the area.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The staff is absolutely amazing! Shayna, Emma and Angela were great hosts and guides, the staff was awesome and the Chef is GREAT! Safe and delicious place for vegans! The game drives were very nice and fun, the girls know their bush! We got to see the big five in only 2 days. The cabin was nice and cozy, even though it gets pretty hot during the day (at night it becomes bearable with the fan on). Good hot shower! The elephants in the pool are breathtaking and the highlight of this amazing place.

Kapama River Lodges offers a range of air-conditioned suites, all stylishly furnished and set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains. We were over the moon from A to Z : the service was exceptional, the room was magnificent, the staff was the best staff we ever had in our life. We saw the big 5 3 times over the 4 days. Africa on Foot is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The rustic-style camp features thatched chalet accommodation, a bar and a viewing deck with splash pool and sun loungers.

The chalets are equipped with a clothing rack, solar powered lamps, mosquito nets and en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower. Water at the camp is gas-heated. Guides are fantastic and so enthusiast and competent.

Mbizi Bush Lodge serves a 3-course dinner and a full breakfast. Guests can relax on the terrace. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge. The property offers free parking. The lodge was amazing , far exceeded our expectation. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family by Bjorn , Divya and their two adorable little boys who seemed to know more about animals than I thought humanly possible . Divya is an amazing cook , going to great lengths to ensure that each meal was a culinary experience. Her passion for food is contagious, and I can honestly say I’ve never eaten so well. Bjorn’s passion , dedication and knowledge for the wildlife of Grietjie was always evident, not only during each game drive , but also during the long conversations he shared with myself and my granddaughter. My granddaughter and myself spent 2 weeks at Mbizi, each day brought a new adventure, from Elephants visiting to drink from the pool , to giraffes wandering over to the lodge to just hanging out , to emergency treatment of a baby elephant that had been injured in poachers snare which unfolded before our eyes. Divya and Bjorne went over and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable , they even invited us to join them for Mother’s Day Lunch . There are no words to express our gratitude, thank you Divya, Bjorn , Noah and our little wild child Luca.

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Certain chalets are equipped with a bath, shower and free toiletries, while one chalet, known as chiDanga, is equipped with an en suite shower which opens onto the deck. The staff made us feel like family. Audrey, Neil, Harduus, everyone was extremely friendly and took excellent care. The food was delicious. Many elephants visited the waterhole during our stay. The game drives are thrilling and the guides very knowledgeable.

Naledi Lodges lies within the Balule Game Reserve and is located 25 km from Hoedspruit. It boasts panoramic views of the African savannah and features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

The units feature views of the pool or mountain and each air-conditioned unit is fitted with a safe, fan and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Some units have a seating area and private pool. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms (with a shower and bath overlooking the river), lounge area, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and a wooden deck. The airy lodges at the Motswari Private Game Reserve feature thatched roofs, each equipped with air conditioning and unrivalled savannah views from large wooden decks. They combine traditional décor with a designer touch and include a lounge and bathrooms with bathtub. Every single part of our stay was 10/10 The game drives you are taken on are amazing - we saw the big 5 in the first 3 drives. Joshua, our ranger and Difference, our tracker were superb at their jobs; super relaxed and highly skilled at what they do. The food is out of this world! The staff are extremely nice and accommodating of any request but they are not too ‘in your face’ either - they allow you to make what ever you like of your stay. Elizabeth and Thambi and their team do such amazing work with fresh and local produce - every meal was an experience to remember! Jan is one of the waiters and bar men - he was so kind and friendly in his engagements with us, making us feel welcome and give us an insight into life in the area. He chatted freely about his life and asked about our lives. Getting to know him and the other staff was a real bonus of the trip. You come as a tourist and leave as a friend.
