Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. I had a wonderful time at Riverside Guest Lodge. The breakfast was delicious and the service was outstanding. I’d happily stay again!

Nestled in the rural area of Oudtshoorn, it offers the perfect setting to relax by a beautiful pool while taking in the stunning mountain views. What stood out the most was the impeccable taste of the owners in decorating the space, creating a unique atmosphere and an incredibly pleasant experience. The staff was excellent, with prompt and thoughtful communication. It was my mother’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make her evening truly special. The dinner served on-site was absolutely delicious, and the spacious rooms, complete with powerful showers, added to the comfort. In summary, this was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Thabile Lodge and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Located in the Assegaay Nature Reserve just outside the town of VanWyksdorp, Rooiberg Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant all surrounded by the Rooiberg Mountain Range.

Rooiberg Lodge is 156 km from George Airport. Wow! We drove the" wrong" way over the rooiberg pass and arrived the back way, so this felt even more like a dramatic arrival into paradise! Riaan made us feel so welcome- lit fires, advised walking tracks and checked us in. The dinner was one of the best we had on South Africa. Great wine, roaring fire, good coffee and breakfast.... I would happily hole up in room 8 for at least a week. Thank you all for a fabulous stay.
