This hotel is absolutely fascinating! The hotel is in a traditional building with amazing and gorgeous courtyard. One of the staff speaks english and helped us with direction, taxi and anything we needed. The bed is super comfy and the room warm. There is west breakfast. I highly recommend this gorgeous hotel.

I really made the right choice with this homestay in Pingyao! The location is absolutely a hidden gem—just a two-minute walk gets you to Rishengchang Bank, so there’s no need to get up early to soak in the Jin merchant culture. It’s super convenient to head back for a break after visiting the attractions. What’s more, the surrounding area is bustling with life. When you stroll out in the evening, the lanterns light up, and old shops and street food stalls are right in front of you, full of that lively, authentic vibe. No need to hunt for places to eat; just step into any spot, and it’s sure to be delicious. The biggest surprise, though, is the service here—they truly take care of every little detail. When I checked in, the owner warmly introduced local attractions, even telling me which shop has the most authentic Pingyao beef and the best time to visit Rishengchang to avoid crowds. That kind of thoughtful care makes the whole trip feel so warm. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Pingyao. Great location, amazing atmosphere, and service that’s second to none—highly recommended!

Wonderful hospitality from the moment we arrived. Staff were most welcoming, accommodation quaint, yet modern. Lovely afternoon tea was a nice touch. Transfer from train station to hotel and back was most appreciated. Just made the holiday so much better!

There are many French people staying here. The staff here are very enthusiastic and keep saying hello, leaving a very good impression on us. The room is very distinctive, the hygiene is clean, the facilities are good, and the hot water is sufficient! It's very comfortable to sleep. The hotel is strategically located on the main street, which is very convenient. There are scenic spots, restaurants and ticket offices at the door. We like it very much. We will come again. Thank you to every employee. We love this place very much.

Great accommodation! Right in the center of Pingyao ancient city. Loved the vibes of the hotel. The staff was really helpful! Big plus that they provide pick up and drop off from the train station!
