To me, Best View Kazbegi mirrors Georgia in a splendid way, in that everyone just seems friendly and happy. But where it really shines is the view. The hotel lives up to its name, and the town itself is just so majestic. Pictures can't really capture how the mountains loom incredibly over the town, and how spectacular it is when they appear and disappear due to the clouds.

My family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains. Our room had a well-stocked bath with robes. We ate dinner at the hotel each night, as we were tired from hiking each day. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding. The seating area is awesome for sitting and having drinks, also. The only thing lacking is the breakfasts. Fresh bread and fresher fruits and cereals would be helpful. The eggs, though, were good, and so was the coffee. Also, note for Americans and Europeans -- breakfasts are served throughout this area at 9 AM. I definitely would stay at the Mood Hotel again.

Our room was gorgeous! The space, the facilities and the view from the terrace. Modern but cozy at the same time. The ladies who managed the hotel were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent and we had a wide selection. We had every thing we needed to unwind. And we did! I'm definitely going to miss this view when I go back to my flat little country!

The host was very friendly when we arrived and left. He was helpful in giving advice on which places to visit. The rooms were very clean and the view from the rooms is wonderful. Make sure to visit this hotel when you come to Kazbegi!

We booked last minute as our original accommodation had fallen through due to road closures. It was clearly meant to be, as I had wanted to stay here anyway! Lovely hotel, good food, yummy breakfast, the best view in Kazbegi, on-site parking, easy drive to the hikes and touristy areas. As a town, aside from the hikes and day trips, Kazbegi is pretty quiet at night so it was nice to come back to the hotel each night and have food, drinks, play some pool, enjoy the view, go for a dip in the pool, and ease our muscle soreness in the sauna. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
