We spent 2 weeks traveling around Sri Lanka and this was our favorite place to stay. It was an incredible room with high ceilings, AC, ceiling fan, clean bathroom, great location, amazing food, and an amazing host. We were able to do our laundry there as well. The location was perfect for safaris as well as Sigiriya Rock and Dambulla. Did I mention how great the food was? Don't hesitate to stay here. It's a special place.

My stay at this luxury Ayurveda Resort in Sigirya, Sri Lanka brought back the deeper connection with nature itself. The Ayurveda treatments at the Resort was exceptional and the Doctor was able to identify my doshas and work on a detox programme for me and all the meals were customized. The team at Ayugiri was excellent and friendly and supportive during my wellness holiday in Sri Lanka. The best part of my stay was seeing the wild elephants roaming about freely.

The hotel ia gorgeous and the stuff is super helpful. They helped us to book a safari tour and tuktuk driver's. We both vegetarian so we thought we are limited, but the chef Hirantha Apollonius Tennekoon offered to help, and cooked spical dishes for us (off menu) and it was lovely. Our waitre Gimhana was helpful as well, took care of us and gave us everything we needed in a second.

This was our first night's stay when we arrived in Sri Lanka. The hotel was not busy but we were greeted with such hospitality. We ate both evenings at the hotel and the food was great. Breakfast was included and was fantastic with the options of both Sri Lankan or western options. Try the hoppers - deliciious! The hotel arranged any tuk tuk's we needed. We visited Dambulla Cave Temple, climbed Lion Rock and went to an amazing Spa. The location is great for all of these. Our room was spotlessly clean and very large with a comfortable bed and clean sheets. To top everything of we saw an elephant walking down the road!
