Staff was very kind and helpful. The food was fantastic. The swimming pool was very clean and maintained every day. I hope to come back.

The place is just a piece of paradise on earth. Green, quiet, beautiful, modern yet cosy nature resort that brings you instant peace when settling in!! The rooms are fantastic with every comfort thinkable!! Huge cudos to the staff!! Ronson is a sweetheart that makes everything possible including a 5am tuktuk pick up, Sanjeewa in the restaurant most friendly, and I was the only guest on day 1 and the rooms are so nice I ended up having twice inroom service and despite heavy rains he brought the DELICIOUS food into my room with a smile! The chef is amazing, too. Breakfast and both my dinners were fabulous!! Wish I could stay longer but glad that at least it was 2 days! My room showed both rocks Sigiriya & Pidurangala from the bed & terrace which was stunning!! As I only climbed Sigiriya, I have a reason to come back to climb Pidurangala, too and when I I do, I’ll stay here again 🥰

We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.

A special shout-out to Mr : " Duminda" at the front desk, who made sure all our needs were met promptly and with a smile. The entire team deserves praise for their professionalism and hospitality. The resort's restaurant is a culinary delight. Every meal was a feast for the senses. From traditional Sri Lankan dishes bursting with flavor to international options prepared to perfection, the dining experience here is one to remember. The chef's talent truly shines. The value we received for the price we paid exceeded our expectations. Sky Forest offers an unparalleled experience, and every dollar spent was an investment in unforgettable memories. One of the most tranquil and peaceful stays of our travels so far. Everything about this property was outstanding - the staff and the service , the room which was spacious with comfortable and huge bed , plunge pool and overlooking greenery , spacious and huge bathroom . We had booked the stay which included their Ayurvedic doctor and treatment and it was heavenly. Top notch quality and very peaceful. Note that the Ayurvedic Center closes at 4pm and rightly so. Would advice to choose full board ( breakfast , lunch and dinner) and opt for Ayurvedic food ( if you prefer vegetarian) . The food was clean , light , local and tasty. We also saw a peacock in the morning right beside our room. The team also provided us very good tips on the time we should visit the lion rock ( for sunrise to avoid crowds) and helped us book a safari to the Kaudulla national park which was one of the highlights of our stay. The property is built on over 70 acres and gives you the green , lush, expansive feel. Thank you to the staff - Chandana ( manager) , praveen , Hasitana ( the chef) and the two people who served breakfast. Everyone serves with a smile and a peaceful demeanour . I had also shared that it was my partners birthday ( a few hours before arriving) and they had made such nice birthday arrangements ( balloons , cake , room decor ). We will surely refer this place to our friends and family and be back here for sure .

Our stay at the hotel was truly satisfying! The pool was well-maintained, and the staff responsible for it was exceptionally friendly and skilled in guest service, leaving a great first impression. During dinner, the food we ordered was served promptly, and the manager stood out for his friendliness and excellent customer care. He attentively listened to guests’ needs, ensuring their satisfaction and regularly checking in to make sure everything was up to standard. The staff serving food and drinks were proactive, ensuring guests’ comfort and satisfaction at every step. The cocktails and other beverages were of high quality and met our expectations. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to cater to all tastes.

I had to go to the hospital because I was bitten by a dog and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Someone came with me and made sure I was treated correctly. Big thanks to them!! Also the resort itself is very picturesque, the food is really good at the restaurant and very close to all the main sights. Staff helped us very well.
