Luxury Hotels in Haputale

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had!! Stayed here for two nights and it was the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorated with lovely views and peaceful surroundings with many birds to see. They had recently had some wildfires nearby so apparently in normal times you can see even more wildlife than what I saw during my stay. There is also a stunning waterfall nearby (almost in the hotel grounds) that the staff take you to and that you can have completely to yourself or perhaps with a couple of locals. I also did a hike with the staff up to the mountain behind the hotel which was great. Then afternoons spent lazing in the pool, chatting to the staff and with complimentary High Tea as I watched the mist float through the mountains. There were no mosquitos in that area too which meant that they could have the large windows open (even at night!) with one whole side of the hotel open to the fresh air and views. There are only two rooms in the hotel, though they have plans to build another couple of buildings in the future (though also with a very secluded feel). I was the only one there during my stay which meant I had the whole place to myself 😍 The best thing about Capoe though is the staff. Isham, Eranda, the wonderful chef and the gardener who guided the hikes. They were all so friendly and attentive and really made my stay, especially as I was a solo traveller and they were very friendly and chatty (though also give you your space when you need it). I've never had a private butler before, let alone one that is trained in both wildlife spotting and making cocktails! Like staying in the jungle forest - real immersion in the nature! And the personnel is extremely friendly, offer us great tours around the area! Very positive experience!

Incredible views, in incredibly warm welcome, super thoughtful staff (preempting our needs before we even asked), gorgeous interior, super clean yet cozy, loved it!! True 5* service. So many lovely surprises like the hot water bottles in the turn down service. An amazing stop on our honeymoon!

As a solo traveler, I was searching for a peaceful yet luxurious escape, and the Presidential Suite at Andriyala Boutique Hotel exceeded all expectations. The dining experience was exceptional, with each meal crafted to perfection. From fresh, flavorful breakfasts to gourmet dinners, the attention to detail in both presentation and taste was outstanding. Whether dining in the suite or at the restaurant, every bite was a delight. The staff provided impeccable service, ensuring a seamless and personalized stay. If you're a solo traveler looking for a luxurious retreat with breathtaking views, top-tier comfort, and outstanding meals, this suite is an absolute gem!

beautiful location und room, extremly friendly hosts

Our favorite guest house in Ella, we even extended our stay because we loved it so much! The host and their whole family is very welcoming, genuinly kind and helpful. Can't forget the grandparents warm smiles, such sweet people! :) The room was comfortable and had many useful things like a water kettle and a mini fridge with drinks, which we really appreciated. Had the best sleep in this place, perhaps because of the comfy bed but also it was very quiet and peaceful. The mountain and waterfall view from the room is just amazing! At the breakfast you'll be fronting this view as well and every morning we got different breakfast and all of them were so tasty. It's only a 10-15min walk to the center from this place, easy to walk along the train tracks and to the other direction you can walk to Ella Rock. Truly truly recommend this place!

The owner is a wonderful person. Beautiful surroundings, very nicely appointed rooms, and bathroom. It was a pleasure to use. (உரிமையாளர் மிகவும் அற்புதமான மனிதர். அழகான சூழலில், மிகவும் நேர்தியாக அமைக்கப்பட்ட அறைகள், மற்றும் குளியல் அறை. பயன்படுத்துவதற்கு மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சிகரமாக இருந்தது)

The setting is marvellous. The staff cold not be more friendly, helpful and customer oriented. The cuisine is excellent. And the chef even went the extra mile to cook for us Sri Lankan delicacies, which were not on the menu.
