The facilities are new and comfortable. There are also L'Occitane amenities. Unión Garden has live music until midnight, and while other hotels have complained of excessive noise, there was very little noise at this hotel (that's why we had very effective earplugs). Breakfast was served at the upscale restaurant next door and was very delicious with coffee, fruit, bread, and a main dish. When I complained they moved us to a better room with a king bed. They said there would not be a price change. That night we were asked to pay 500mx more as we returned from a great day. I said no. The next day we were asked again for the 500 pesos. The staff was young and were professional, but I was unsettling. We ere the only people in the hotel. Perfect location, cute balcony overlooking the Jardin, close to everything. Comfortable room, luxurious bathroom, waterfall shower, luxury amenities. Wonderful, very helpful staff with excellent English and good recommendations for things to see and places to eat.
