Everything, wonderful hotel in all aspects. The photos don’t due the hotel justice in my opinion. It is spacious and very well done blending the old and new. The rooms have been brought up to modern standards. The roof top restaurant that serves breakfast was terrific. You can’t ask for a better location to go to all the museums and sites in Zacatecas. The staff was very friendly and professional. Will recommend the gem of a hotel to friends and family.

I feel at home at this hotel and that is important. I travel from Canada by car and therefore my car is chuck full of my belongings. Parking security is paramount and the hotel compound is quite safe and spacious. I had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and was pleased that the quality and price were both just fine. The hotel is amazing! It's an old bull ring as indicated in the hotel description. An old aqueduct passes right by it. The whole atmosphere is rather charming. I arrived on an early morning flight. They let me check in right away as they had a room ready- though the actual check in time is 3pm. Throughout my stay I found the staff very friendly, kind and efficient. I have to make particular mention of Rebecca at the front desk. All of the requests I made to her were efficiently followed through. I also asked for a late check out on my fourth day (had an evening flight). She checked to see if there was availability and allowed me to stay on. She is also fluently atleast bilingual (English & Spanish) from what I saw. The other person I have to mention is the person in charge of the breakfast area. The breakfast that's included in the room rate is a continental style one with bread, fruits, coffee. I was curious about the Mexican fare they had on the weekend buffet. He practically helped me prepare a taco with yesca- walking with me the stations to assemble all the components! So on Sunday I went for the full buffet, paying ofcourse the difference in price. The room was pretty big and the bed was comfortable with a good variety of pillows. Very good housekeeping services.
