United KingdomIt was a spontaneous decision to stay over here when my partner and I were in Antakya. As someone who studied architecture, I was fascinated by the design of the hotel! We used the swimming pool and jacuzzi, we were the only people in the pool, it was really relaxing. I asked the concierge if our swimming wears can have a quick clean and be dried, despite the cleaning staff was off work, they made telephone calls to make sure it was done! With only a small fee, our dried clothes were delivered to our room in a short time. The breakfast was really lovely with a view from the roof top. We were also given guest tickets to view the museum and ruins on the ground level of the hotel. This is such a unique and special place. I would recommend it to whoever visiting the city. It is a shame and very sad that Antakya is no longer the tourist hotspot and the old town is in ruin (within walking distance from the hotel). I can't wait to revisit the place while the city is rebuilt back to its full glory.
