Fantastic hotel. Not new but very well maintained and kept impeccably clean. Wide range of facilities. Nice touches such as the complimentary fruit brought to the room.

Located on Dawan seashore, Chateau Beach Resort Kenting is a lovely retreat where you can expect sandy beach with seashells, glorious sunshine and blue sea.

I was surprised how big the property was, and comprehensive the facilities are, particularly given the relatively low cost. It is located right on the beach, which we made good use of in fine weather at the end of Feb. We were given an upgrade to the room, which faced the ocean. It was a massive room with high ceilings and 2 king-sized beds. Everything was high quality, and there were no issues whatsoever. Our booking included half board which gave us access to buffet dinner and breakfast - both comprehensive and diverse. I would say mid-scale for a hotel buffet. As English speaking Europeans (from Australia) we were in a very small minority, but were made to feel very welcome by the staff who did their best with limited English. Highly recommended.

The reception staff were so lovely and helpful. They were always happy to help. The villa was nice with a great swimming pool and hot tub.

Owner is super friendly and speaks English. The location is right be a night market, and easy access to the local places to eat. Room was great, bed was super comfy. The owner let me park my big motorcycle under the cover right outside.
