I’m not personally a fan of LA, so Chateau Marmont is a very quiet, and extremely private place to stay, with a somewhat colourful history. I last stayed there in the 90s, and thankfully it’s retained its exclusivity, discretion, and mystique. At a price, of course.

Everything. The whole experience has made me want to book another trip, just to go and stay there again. I'm not surprised it is so popular with travellers, I imagine it hasn't lost one bit of charm or service since it opened in the early part of the last century.
