Our Comfort room could be used together with the one next door, if you were travelling as a family. There was an outer door that kept any noise level from the corridor to a minimum. Breakfast was substantial and the restaurant was well used by both guests and non guests. Very attentive staff in the restaurant. A genuinely friendly and professional gentleman called Weil was on hand at check in and check out making us feel everyone in the hotel were keen for us to have a memorable stay. The car parking, private spa for an hour and the ski equipment hire all included in the cost of our stay were amazing

We stayed in the Japanese room and it was absolutely perfect. Nice view, sauna on the terrace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service is excellent and we felt pampered for the entirety of our stay. They delivered breakfast to our room every morning, snacks and sodas/beer were always available in the room (with the possibility of refills), a bottle of white wine and red wine free of charge in the room and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cheese/meat platter. Highly recommended for couples who want to spend a relaxing and romantic weekend in the mountains.

Situated in a typical Alpine-style building and located in Grindelwald, Endweg offers an apartment with panoramic views of the Eiger Mountain. Guests can benefit from free WiFi and reach the First Cable Car within 10 minutes on foot. Lovely chalet with everything and comfortable. We enjoyed our stays here. When we check out, host kindly took us to station.

Historisches Alpinhotel Grimsel Hospiz in Grimsel Hospiz features 4-star accommodation with a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Location. It is great. I visited in beginning of October and it was easy to get there by public transport during that time (it might be different when snow covers the mountain pass). Tickets for some of the local cable cars were included and for some other ones I got a discount (I've used free cable cars only as I've stayed for one day and there was only that much I could visit). I would really encourage to walk around the lake that is down from the hotel as it is beautiful and the view from the dam is also great! Breakfast was very nice as well. One thing to keep in mind - hotel is high up (1900-2000 meters) and if you are not used to mountain hotels, you might have worse sleep quality, not because of the beds or something, but because air is thinner up there and your body need to adjust to that.

Located near the Pfingstegg and First ski lifts or next to the Oberer Gletscher, these holiday apartments have well equipped kitchens and private terraces with views. Free WiFi is available in all areas. I very much enjoy staying in the serviced apartments. You get all the perks of being a hotel guest (access to equipment storage and the wellness center--free), but the independence of being able to cook your own meals if you were so inclined. We typically cooked breakfast in the apartment, ate lunch on the mountain, and 50/50 cooked dinner or went out for it. The family that owns the hotel/grounds is very involved and very friendly. So far, no request has been unmet. I also love that they have a van that will take you to and from the train station and the First ski lift. The bus also stops in front. It really is a great property!

All of the modern rooms at this design hotel have cable TV. Some of the rooms have picturesque views of Engelhorn peaks and the Rosenlaui glacier. The hotel staff (and gifts) made us feel very welcome. The design was luxurious, we had everything we needed after a long day of trekking and the breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland!
