Nothing quite like starting your day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee while toucans flutter through the trees. Special thanks to Jogebeth, whose warmth and impeccable service made our stay even more special. From her attention to detail to her genuine care for our comfort, she went above and beyond. Amazing garden - very well maintained and very beautiful! A lot of different birds and other wildlife. There's also a wild trek which begins from the hotel - it's a short one and gives you a great idea what a walk in a jungle looks like. On top of that the staff was amazing - due to bad weather I had to change the plans we had at the last minute and the staff helped us a lot - Thank you, you are awesome and you made our trip to Costa Rica wonderful!

Chato Arenal Lodge has a nice breakfast with fresh fruits and an amazing view from the restaurant. The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable, I loved that the hotel is at a walking distance from La Fortuna waterfalls and a five minutes drive from the downtown where you can have access to restaurants, cafes and the hot springs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Esteban was very helpful and shared with me some beautiful location that I can visit. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying at Chato Arenal on my next visit to Costa Rica.
