Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. As it's a small boutique hotel, you get to know the staff and are called by name. This was my second stay and it was delightful, I felt welcomed back like a friend. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is great and the pool is refreshing.
