The staff in the hotel were lovely, helpful and gave superb service, thank you! The breakfast in the hotel is 5*, lovely traditional full Irish breakfast. Rooms are spotless, and the beds are comfortable. There is a lovely little covered outdoor area where you can enjoy a drink, or have a coffee etc.

Dinner was booked in the Seven bar we have some fussy eaters and the chef catered to their needs with ease. Our servers were very attentive and looked after us well, an extra mention to Daragh and Marcella who made our experience extra enjoyable.

Food was beautiful. We ate in the bar as we were late checking in. Try their chicken wings and blue cheese dip...yum! Cocktails were fab! Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Coffee was a bit slow, arriving 10 mins after the breakfast☹️

Beautifully restored 300-year House full of history in the main street of Abbeyleix. A warm welcome from Ross and advice on where to go in the town for food. Our bedroom on the top floor was superb, full of old-world charm. The whole house is a walk back in time. Full kitchen available, and as there are only 5 rooms, it feels like you have the whole house to yourself. Can't wait to stay again.
