A quaint but very spacious and classy hotel. With great views. The staff was very courteous and were very helpful. Must mention Vishnu who was very attentive and helpful to us and as we could see, to others as well.. Highly recommend this hotel to the ones looking for peaceful getaway. Breakfast was simple but tasty!

Mickey and his tuk tuk driver manesh, were brilliant at making us welcome and looking after all our needs.Nothing was toomuch bother. The breakfast was outstanding, the best we had our whole time in India. thank you for the love and attention Mickey the location was slightly out of town which meant it was quieter and the beach across the road was mostly eempty and unspoilt, perfect for the morning swim.

The calmness in that place, the decor, the ambience, excellent service by the staff especially Rishad, the exclusive area for yoga and meditation, truly kept near to the nature, scenic view of backwaters ...Altogether its a gem.

For a budget guest house it ticked all the boxes. No luxury but everything works as it should and the staff are so so kind and helpful. Just across the road for a swim. Recommend Lilliput Restaurant close by. Breakfast in guest house good. Transports arranged by hotel perfect.

Vala house is located in a quieter more peaceful area of Cherai beach, making it a calm oasis. The rooms are incredibly high in quality, with nice furniture, artwork and nice bathroom giving it a luxury feel. The rooms each have a private terrace area overlooking the backwaters. The staff and friendly and helpful and organised a delicious breakfast of traditional kerela staples every morning. There is a much smaller quieter beach a few mins walk away and then the main bigger beach with restaurants etc 5 mins by Tuktuk.

The Sunset was superb. View from the Sea view room, there is non sea view room also there with lesser rates. Breakfast was amazing and tasty.

Rooms are very good and Breakfast was superb. Beach view was also very visible from the hotel. Cherai beach is around 1.5 to 2 km from villa.
