The apartment is in a great spot very close to Ischia Porto centre (although see below) and the views were amazing from our balcony. Our room was very well presented with plenty of space and good facilities. We loved our stay in Ischia at the residence and would definitely return when next visiting the island. That said, the real highlight for us was meeting Francesco and Guiseppe, who manage the apartments. They are lovely guys, nice to chat to and very helpful with anything relating to the apartment, getting around Ischia or visiting Naples, etc. They also communicated well with us prior to our holiday to make sure everything was organised and ready for our arrival. Botania Relais & Spa - The Leading Hotels of the World is 500 metres outside Lacco Ameno, near Ischia’s San Montano Bay and the Negombo thermal spa, easily reached by a footpath. Rooms are located in Mediterranean villas. The entire team at Botania went truly above and beyond during our stay. We felt SO welcomed, cherished and cared for. The room was beautiful, comfortable and we were given a complimentary upgrade. The grounds, restaurants and pools were spectacular. Especially the staff, they were truly so engaging, authentic and incredibly friendly. We LOVED the Yoga classes in the morning with Luisa, she adapted the class to our needs and truly helped make the stay even that much for relaxing and wonderful.

Excelsior Belvedere Hotel & Spa is set in the centre of Ischia and offers free WiFi throughout, a private beach, and panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and Gulf of Naples. This former nobleman's residence also features a park with 2 pools and a wellness centre. Breakfast was more like a feast! Dinner was delicious! The staff were more than accomodating. The facilities are beautiful and the manager was delightful (and gave us great tips and a lovely parting gift!) We met some lovely guests and hope to return next time we are in Italy!
