The staff did an amazing job of understanding all our needs and then helping us accordingly. The rooms and the property were really nice. The pool was probably the most scenic I ever saw. The food was great too and served in a very unique setting. Definitely worth the money!

If your looking to relax for a day or 2 100 percent recommend. 100 percent worth the money. They even got me a taxi to my next spot

In addition the setting is perfect, far from main roads, it is quiet, no car noise, no pollution, immerse in a garden with Coco and banana plants, you wake up with birds singing. there are even the srilanka squirrels! Not sure the name.. Archeological park is far from town and huge, therefore you need a mean of transport anyway... But the most important thing were Ishani and her family. i was booking places for our holiday, when I saw this place and I decided that I was going to book all places run by local families, in order to know them more, the culture, the food. Also I know that srilanka people are very nice and I think they deserve to be known and to be rewarded directly. But I couldn't imagine we were going to feel so well here! They are all so incredibly nice. We had srilanka breakfast and dinner for the 3days prepared by them, great! I suggested them to set cooking classes! The big surprise was that they speak also Italian! So we chat in English and Italian! Leaving this morning was not easy, we felt at home. And I really wishto see them again. For sure we'll keep in touch. I don't think it'll be possible to match this great welcoming place during this trip.

We are a group of 5 catalans who stayed in two accommodations, one of which was up in a tree. The experience has been fabulous, perhaps the best lodging in Sri Lanka. Both houses were super clean, humble but very beautiful ✨ The surroundings were wild, and all you could hear were birds. We saw several animals. The gentleman was always super attentive in every way. He prepared some amazing lunches for us and even better dinners. The owner cooked for us on the spot, and honestly, a 10!! It was delicious (one of the best places we’ve tried), tailored to our taste (in our case, without spice), and featuring typical local dishes. Plus, the price was always very fair; at no point did we feel overcharged (there are many places that jack up prices when you’re a tourist). A must-stay accommodation if you’re in the area!! 💯

The host and the guy working there have done everything for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
