A step up from Hostels. I needed a touch of luxury after 2 weeks in hostels and Sol Plaza delivered. Great central location

I rarely write reviews, unless the place is really good, or really bad. This place was absolutely outstanding and one of the most memorable stays we’ve had in nearly a year travelling in South America. Franco and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming, the food was delicious and the room was unbelievably luxurious, considering it’s floating in a lake at 3,800 metres altitude! I highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful stay on lake Titicaca. The grounds were lovely to walk around, the spa area was great to have, and being so close yet far away enough from Puno center was perfect! Breakfast was also amazing! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a little more luxury while staying on the lake!

Our stay here was incredible- so memorable! The room had an unbeatable view and Franco, our host was so kind and informative. We got to learn about the culture while staying in a luxurious suite. And Franco’s family was wonderful to meet-my daughters were so thankful to meet and play with Cathy (a girl their age)- Cathy, Keira says hi!! ❤️ Really an experience we will never forget!

Everything was perfect, superb location, superb breakfast, very comfortable rooms

The atmosphere was superb; the room was very nice considering you stay in the middle of a lake on an artificial island surrounded by water. They do their best that you can enjoy a warm bed and warm room. And they are also very carrying and you can go canoeing with one of their boats for free.

Amazing local and unique experience. Eddie and his family paid attention to every detail so our stay was perfect! We ate local and home food, we visited the community, bought local handicrafts, and learnt about their way of life. In addition, it was quiet at night so we were able to rest after our trip. Don´t expect a luxury hotel, but expect an amazing experience!

Beautiful unique experience. Fantastic host couple, luxury suite, extreme panorama, very good food. We did a cayak tour before breakfast, and got a free boat tour by Isac after the breakfast on our private terrace. We can only recommend it, our by far best experience in Puno.

Location is superb. View over Lake Titicaca and the Uros floating islands are phenomenal. In the spaceous suite the bathroom with shower in the bathtub and a bidet. Not seen anywhere else. Breakfast and dinner outstanding, waiter Johan very very friendly
