A beautifully appointed studio unit with quality linen, towels and facilities. The kitchenette was well equipped with everything we needed and the whole room wad faultless. We received a warm greeting from our lovely host who couldn't have been more helpful with information regarding the local area. Definitely would recommend and would stay there again.

In a month of continuous travel around both the islands of New Zealand we stayed in a number of perfectly good places. The Sunset Motel stands head and shoulders above them all. Beside being clean, comfortable, equipped with all it promised, the layout of the garden was cozy, with fantastic views from all the rooms and sitting there in the evening was most enjoyable. The receptionist was kind, helpful and the breakfast was simple but filling.

The Westhaven Motel is located in the heart of the South Island's West Coast Glacier Country, within the South West World Heritage area.

Very spacious, warm and very clean. The host was super friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived. It's a short walk to shops and restaurants and we could hear the Kiwis at night.
