SingaporeA big accommodation located about 10 minutes drive from Haast town centre, Bay Road Motels is a comfy holiday home. It has a big living area and kitchen with the biggest bathroom I saw on our trip, equipped with washing machine and dryer. I wish we'd stayed there for more than a night. The beach is just across the road and, being quite secluded, you will find peace amidst nature.

The staff got us quickly checked-in and directed us towards a place to eat. In the morning we were able to go to the private beach and take a nice walk before checking-out. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were also free snacks which were appreciated. Our room was only a one minute walk away from a fabulous beach - It was great hearing the crashing waves at night. Even though the Motel is close to the road there is no traffic overnight on the road so very quiet. Just the sounds of the waves breaking on the nearby shore.
