Room was specious, nicely decorated with attention to detail, with many extras (even extension cord and hot water bottle!). Everything was very clean and well organized, tidy and in order. Exceptional place :-). The owners super nice and helpful.

Stayed 1 night, very clean, very comfortable, and very spacious. One of the better motels we've stayed at for 1 night in hanmer, we've stayed in a few. Loveliest hosts and provided towels for the hot pools. Bonus tavern come restaurant right next door and located on main street in hanmer so all amenities close by. Would definitely book again.

I loved my chalet; it was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful sunset view from the living room. It is not precisely in the centre, but you can reach the pools on foot in about 10/15 minutes. On the other side, just behind the motel, is the starting point for many lovely walks and tracks.

    We have stayed before at this motel so knew what to expect. It was warm & cosy. The decor is a bit old fashioned as is the shower. Enjoyed the space of a seperate bedroom & sitting room. The motel is slightly away from others. We arrived late so did not meet any staff, good directions of where our room was, thank you.

    The room was very quiet and comfy, staff were amazing and friendly. The location of the motel was walking distance to the pools and the local shops and other attractions. I highly recommend this place. Have stayed here before and will continue to stay here in the future.

    The Spa Lodge is very comfortable, well positioned, with a naturally friendly manager who goes out of her way to make you comfortable. The cooking facilities are extremely handy for light meals, and if you don't want to cook there are plenty of cafes within a short walk. The proximity to the thermal pools is also a bonus, with pool towels provided by Spa Lodge Motel, so you don't have to pay for them at the pool.

    Really good location and walking distance to everything. Very friendly staff. Very accommodating. Gave extra towels with no hassle for the room and you can help your self to the towels for the hot pools. Very clean. Has everything you need. Had 2 TVs so handy for family with kids. Free parking. Very safe.
