Motels in Matakana

We enjoyed our short overnight stay at Matakana Motel. Everything we needed was available. The proximity to the shops and cafes was great. The night was wet and cold but we were only a short walk away to getting meals etc. The only thing I was confused about was we didn't get the room that was pictured on line when I booked. I bought this to the attention of the people at the office and they were as confused as I was.

Location was good as walking distance to a lovely pub, the shops and the restaurant where we dined. The size of the room was good. Free parking was available outside.

Good Motel central, quiet location. Easy walk to Hotel, restaurants and cafes.

We have stayed before. The motel is very clean and the grounds are kept very clean and tidy. It is next to the Matakana Hotel which is fabulous for dinner.

A very clean modern motel, close to town, eating places and the movies. Staff very friendly aswell. Great pool. Heaps of parking.

Our stay at the Matakana Motel was an incredible experience. Shelley and Grahame were very accommodating and welcoming. We booked 3 two bedroom units. All units were clean, and spacious. Location was awesome! Right in the Matakana Village.

Fantastic proximity to Matakana Village with alley way access short cut, yet tucked quietly away from the main road and busy shopping area. Rooms are extremely well appointed with everything you need, and by far the cleanest motel we have stayed at in a while. Easy going and welcoming hosts, we will definitely be back to stay again. Added bonus is the lovely swimming pool and BBQ area - if only we had packed our swimming trunks!

Spacious and comfortable motel just a few minutes walk into a cute town. Basic kitchenette facilities but useable. Nice shower and bath. Staff were very helpful. Only had the one night and it was great for that.
