It was clean, inviting and well lit. The sweet girl at the front desk was exemplary of what a front desk clerk should be. She was extremely nice.

The property was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Red Roof Inns are a mixed bag. some, like the one we stayed in the following night in Hagerstown Maryland was a no go on a different trip but the Gadsden Red Roof was the best one I have stayed in. A plus is the lovely lake next to the motel and the numerous restaurants that surround the property. Great staff! Reminded me of a Marriott Courtyard but at a much more reasonable price.
