You are close (walking distance) to excellent cafes and shops. It's also a block from the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The staff is also very friendly and provided maps to the park and the area when you check in. Note that they do not provide food but there are so many great places to eat near there that isn't a problem. We were pleasantly surprised!! Ravi, the owner and host is delightful -- he was so gracious and helpful. The room was large, clean, and comfortable -- we loved that the room had a backdoor out to a very charming garden area. Rooms are spacious with all the appliances you need, including a real coffee machine and plenty of outlets everywhere. I have been here at least ten times and it’s my fav hotel in the area.
