Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

This was a completely refurbished older motel but it was absolutely charming. The room was roomy and perfect for us to stay with our grandkids. It was so darn cute inside - I loved the little retro refrigerator and microwave. They just added to the whole atmosphere.

This is a sister property of Atomic Motel in Astoria, OR., and it has much of the same charm. One outstanding feature was the rain shower in our room. It was like bathing in a waterfall. Blissful! The staff was friendly and offered recommendations for local dining and attractions. It is centrally located in the Oceanside region, close to all manner of recreation and outdoor activities. A great place to stay.

This is an old 1950s style motel on the main road in Long Beach, Washington. Nothing fancy but very clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the heating system was great. Cute, new but vintage-looking fridge and microwave, along with all the usual other hotel niceties. Comfy beds and enough lighting.
