Dread from past motels starts to set in as you check into the smelly office and make your way through the craters in the cement and holes in the wall....only to be completely surprised that the inside is super clean, fresh, updated. The location is fabulous, the rooms are charming and VERY clean, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The location along caused some road noise. My room was on the highway side of the building. Rooms on the side facing the hospital may be quieter. I knew I would be using the room simply to sleep in and it met that purpose at a reasonable price. I will dream about the perfection of this motel and will judge all others based on it! Tue rooms were cute and clean and updated. The quaintness of the motel with the front porches, fire pit, and easy access to the beach all made for a dream stay. The people working there were so kind and accommodating.
