Very warm welcome from Mary on reception, with offer of coffee while checking in. Upgraded room to corner, almost on the beach. Although next to promenade, room was very quiet, well appointed and extremely clean. Bottled water provided. Interesting seaside town with fabulous beach.

Easy to find great location. Shops and restaurants and beach all within walking distance. Super clean with great amenities! The candy in the room was nice! Along with better quality shampoo conditioner than most hotels and the shower cap! which I haven’t seen at any others for a long time. They also had a great selection of movies etc at reception. Normally a motels a motel and Im happy to be leaving but this place was great I definitely will stay a few days next time

It's great considering its price and location. The room is clean and spacious with a sofa. The view is great with garden and beach from the balcony. It’s relaxing. We enjoyed our stay at this lodge.

What's not to like! This is such a cool & quirky hotel and it gives you a STUNNING view of the bridge! I love the vibe, the staff were great and the atmosphere was absolutely awesome

The room displayed items about the planning of the Astoria bridge build which was very interesting. Air con and the electric fireplace is a lovely touch.
