We absolutely loved the updated retro interior of the room. Also, the fact that the children had their own room (with a second tv) was really nice. Lots of storage and hooks! The bathroom looked very pretty (great water pressure and kids loved taking a bath) and the lighting was great. The room had a microwave and mini fridge as well as perfectly working AC. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable! Big and funky pool towels were provided as well as other towels. Fresh towels were provided upon request and outside was an ice machine. We loved the look of the pool! Very convenient to dip in after a long day of hiking. Should you want to have a little bit more extravagant pool time with the kids? The Community pool in Kanab is fairly priced and truly amazing for the kids as well! Overal we had a great stay in the lovely town of Kanab! Visiting both Bryce and Zion from there was perfect.

The grounds are also very beautiful. We did not have our dogs on this trip, but we can’t wait to bring them here. We want to do a doggie road trip just to come here and stay. SUPER IMPORTANT: if you do not have a dog, you can borrow a shelter dog from Best Friend’s Animal Shelter down the road to take them on a sleepover for the night which I think is the cutest thing ever. We definitely wanna do this sometime as well!!!!!

The front desk agent was fantastic, providing excellent recommendations for the area. The location is super convenient, right across from restaurants and gas stations. Everything was clean and comfortable—perfect for a quick stop! Would definitely stay again.

The Chalet is located in St. George. Free WiFi access is available. St George Municipal Airport is 20 minutes’ drive from the motel.

Daughters of Utah Pioneer Museum is 15 minutes’ walk from the motel. Sunbrook Golf Club is 7.4 km from The Chalet. The rooms are ALWAYS clean and comfortable! This is our go to place whenever we need to stop over in St. George!

Free parking is available on site. This is a wonderful place! The beauty of the surrounding is stunning and the lodge s jewel. At the reception we met Nick who was very kind and his travel advices were really helpful. This is definitely one of our favorite places during our trip through California, Arizona, and Utah.
