Brilliant place with amazing staff. We will be back. Very disappointed we had to give up one night as our son got Covid so we had to stay on in Tokyo. Will make up for it next time.

Ichinomatsu is a traditional ryokan with a hot spring bath. I love the atmosphere in this type of lodging - very relaxing and with people ready to take care of the logistics around you. Breakfast and dinner served to perfection in your room. Short stroll to a big bath for the guests - perfectly maintained. View to a small japanese style garden. Very relaxing two days.

Location was amazing. Morning market is right outside, JR station was also a short walk away. Can also walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and famed slope if you want to, on the way to the Ropeway. Has a washing machine in the room too. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Onsen was pretty good too, my first experience and it was quite fun! Will stay here again if I come back!
