The private onsen at sunset was a perfect way to end a day exploring Ikaho. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore everything there is to see in Ikaho and just around the corner from a bus stop to explore surrounding areas. We will be back to stay at Mimatsukan. It was my first experience with hot springs and I enjoyed them a lot. Why not a full smile for bed: my arthritis and futon were not the best friends, haha! But that was not hotel's fault.
