My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. very friendly staff since the moment we arrived. I could speak Mandarin but I also really appreciated that the staff was very willing to speak English to my partner. breakfast spread (both Taiwanese and western breakfast) were amazing. Loved the pineapple cakes and bought extras to bring back home! also loved the comfortable slippers from the room and wanted to buy a pair but too bad my size was not available.
