After a lot of hectic cities, we came to a full relaxation after the complimentary footbaths, private onsen, 5 course dinner specially adjusted for my pregnant wife. Looking out to sea from the room, a tiny tori gate in the distance. It was like heaven.

This recently renovated ryokan is located 1.8 km from Shoin Shrine and 3.2 km from Hagi Station. The ryokan features family rooms. loved our stay here! the room was sooo spacious, more than enough room for 2 people. we really felt like we were having a true japanese ryokan experience. everything in the room, from the tatami to the bathroom was so clean and comfortable. the staff was very welcoming and they even came to pick us up from the train station! the front desk helped us with suggestions for different restaurants and called to make reservations for us, they were very accommodating. the onsen was sooo beautiful and really made our stay just perfect. the japanese breakfast was included and it was truly a work of art, every bite was delicious and a feast for the senses. we enjoyed their complimentary coffee while viewing the japanese gardens off the reception area, so relaxing. overall it was just wonderful and we couldn't have asked for anything better. oh and the staff also took us back to the train station after we checked out! would definitely stay here again.

Amazing experience in a very nice Ryokan! The building itself is amazing, very close the the main interest points. All the staff is simply wonderful, they will do their best to make you feel at home. Last but not least, the food: I highly recommend to eat both dinner and breakfast at the ryokan: one of the best foods tried in Japan!

And I have to admit, it was the most beautiful hotel room we have ever stayed in. Spacious and decorated with a lot of taste, every lamp and every detail are perfectly matching this place and creating an amazing atmosphere. Lots of space, big windows with beautiful views to the river below. The room needs no TV, because with the river during the day and a distant thunderstorm at night, the nature gives already the best show. There is a sauna on the top floor, also very beautiful and with a great view. Moreover, the onsen next door accepts people with tattoos (how refreshing!) and the river and surroundings are perfect for a relaxing walk. We really hope to go back someday and enjoy this magical place again.

At 三朝温泉　桃園館 guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot spring bath. Our tatami room was spacious and thoughtfully prepared, with futons laid out and men’s yukata already provided. The location is convenient, close to the bus station and within walking distance of the Misasa area. The onsen, featuring both indoor and outdoor baths, was lovely. They also offer a variety of yukata to use during your stay, along with geta in different sizes if you’d like to stroll around in traditional attire. For the price we paid, this place was an incredible value compared to other ryokan nearby.

An Asian breakfast is available at the ryokan. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.
