There were a few items I didn’t eat though my husband ate everything. Taz’s mother waitressed ( at the age of 87!) & was always smiling & helpful. 3 small onsens - enough for couples. My husband’s aches & pains disappeared after a dip. Easy walk to centre of town & lovely park. On a weekend both areas are lit up. The park is particularly beautiful.

The restaurant staff were all so friendly and kind, and they always prepared baby chair and baby bowl and utensils for our toddler. The location is convenient as there is a combini nearby for snacks - the hotel has its own shop too. The room was spacious, though unlike other Ryokans I've stayed at, the mattresses didn't get put away during the day - no biggie though as we didn't spend much time in the room during the day.
