Everything was amazing, I’m glad I booked this place on for my birthday stay. I wake up with a fabulous view of Mt.Fuji, and the price was fair not too expensive. It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

I booked this hotel for my brother's birthday and the staff made this honestly a stay to remember. We used the bikes and went on a bike ride and we had an onsen in our room which was great as my brother has tattoos. The view from our room was beautiful! On the night of our meal our waitress asked to take a picture of us which she then had printed and framed and put on our table for breakfast which was such a lovely memorable touch!

breakfast is good, not mind blowingly good but good and plentiful. Room is very clean and very bright. I like the cleaninless of the room. And private onsen is nice too. Unfortunately there is not much amenities in the hotel. If this is a different ryokan (japanese hotel), they may have other public baths where you can try different baths with different views which makes staying in the hotel more amenable. We're bored staying in the hotel with nothing to do. So we are kind of forced to explore the area.
The hotel provides full Japanese ryokan experience! The view on both sides (lake or Mt. Fuji) is breathtaking. It is a good getaway place from Tokyo for 1-2 nights. The hotel provides the option to book for 1 hour a family/private onsen room with views on Mt. Fuji, this is an experience I will not forget.
This luxurious Ryokan was the perfect getaway from busy Tokyo and an excellent spa-retreat after a long hike in one. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful. We would highly recommend booking a private dinner in your room for at least one night where you'll get overwhelmed by the enormous diversity of the Japanese cuisine. We booked a private Onsen for 1 hour where we could catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, but the public Onsen and rooftop footbath are already well worth this Ryokan experience.
Very good location. Extremely welcoming staff. Good room size. Nice hot spring Onsen.
You can choose to include meals in your stay, which I strongly recommend. This Hotel also provided FREE shuttle service from 3pm - 7pm from Lake Kawaguchiko Bus Station, and morning Shuttle to bus station from 8am - 10am. This Hotel is located just near to Yagizaki Park, which is a great spot for photos of Mt Fuji, strongly recommend. Oh and did I mention the Hot Springs in the Hotel is really awesome, they have indoor and outdoor Onsen/Hot Springs.
Breakfast and dinner was sumptuous. The room was very clean and spacious, we also had a very nice view of Mount Fuji from parts of the room. Private onsen was excellent as well. Everything was provided like a 5-star hotel, from toiletries to drinks, they even had a towel warmer! The bed was more comfortable than some hotels. The apartment had elements of a ryokan yet was modern like a service apartment. We exceptionally love the service of the hosts :)
Excellent service from the time you get off the coach, cannot fault. Entertainment was good, so was the bingo. Dinner in our room was delicious and each course well presented. Private onsen was great given I am not comfortable with the public ones. The tea garden is immaculately kept and it was wonderful to soak my tired feet in the hot spring foot bath there. Breakfast was well catered for and there was plenty to choose from. All in all I highly recommend this accommodation.
The room very clean, spacious, dinner was great, hospitality great and the stuff very friendly. Public onsen with Mt fuji view. Tried their private onsen as well, excellent ryokan
Amazing place to stay if you want to have a bit of traditional Ryokan feeling. The room was great, very clean and quite big for Japanese standards. The private Onsen were also a great experience and a must when in Japan. With great weather you will be able to wake up with the view on Mount Fuji. It is also very easy to reach Kawaguchiko by bus for any day activity you might wish for.
