The moment we walked into the house, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. Andy, Rika, Momo and Hana create something truly special. We’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and such, but this one will stay in our hearts for a long time. Everything is well thought out, you can see it’s taken care of down to the smallest detail, you can see it’s done properly and not just to be the cheapest. We felt so beautifully hosted. They also have an amazing sake collection to try, and the food is delicious too. Thank you again and we already miss it. I hope we’ll get the chance to meet again. PS. We loved everything about our stay at Yadoya Shiroganeya. Maki is an excellent host and her mother is an amazing cook! The local food of Nagano was delicious and hand picked by Maki herself. We had fun making friends with the resident pets Fukumaru and Kenta. We were even lucky enough to see snow during our stay, but we were cozy and warm inside at all times. There are so many lovely touches to this property that made it one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. We hope to visit again!
