We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Demaj. The breakfast was fabulous, with fresh and varied options. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Berat’s historic center, making it easy to explore the town. But without a doubt, the best part was the hospitality and generosity of the owners, especially their son, who was absolutely amazing – always ready to help, guiding us throughout our stay, and with an impressive level of English. We really felt at home. Highly recommended!

the property is perfect! it is in the old part of Berat, with characteristic buildings all around. The owner helped us with our luggage from the car park to the property. the rooms are traditional Albanian and tastefully decorated with articles of excellent craftsmanship. The terrace and the dining area are very beautiful. The room had a great view of the river and the part of the town on the opposite side of the river. There are a couple of very good restaurants and bakeries in the area near the hotel. The breakfast was tasty and varied like a feast. The service is very personalized as it's a family-run property with very nice owners. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Berat.

The hosts were absolutely beautiful. They immediately made you feel like a part of their family, so welcoming and kind. They are a wonderful family and you will feel very safe and at home with them. The mum made a delicious and very generous amount of food for breakfast. It’s incredible value for money, couldn’t be happier with the hosts and the food they provided.

The Host was super friendly and kind ! They take care a lot of the rooms, everything was clean and tidy and they are there for you anytime during the day ! The breakfast was amazing and everyday it was different despite the fact that is homemade which is insane ❤️. Everything is really close by foot and they have also a parking spot for the guests. We would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Berat! Thanks for the hospitality 🙏

    Great location in a quiet area. Free parking nearby. Host was very friendly. I could check out at 11 and was offered a good breakfast at 10.30h. She was very helpful! I was staying in the little room on the 3rd floor, cosy, right under the roof. Old charme! Bed was comfortable!

    The hotel is located at the very center of the town and at the very beginning of the old town , from the place you can walk practically at any interesting historical, cultural and other places of interest in Berat. The owners made sure that we had a free parking lot so no need to move with the car after you reach the hotel. Very frendly familly owned hotel. very clean and a nice breakfast that if you are lucky of the weather could be enjoyed at the hotel's terrace with a nice view of the old town.

    Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Free parking is at the Berat Castle parking lot so there is a short uphill walk. Great breakfast at Temi Restaurant next door, they were also kind enough to let us have breakfast early in order for us to make our tour start time.

    Everything can be considered as good. The view from the room was breathtaking. The owner was very friendly and breakfast was amazing. Facilty provided a free parking lot as well.
