This place is simply amazing and no words to describe the beauty of the location, but also the hospitality of Marine and her family. The food was exceptional and Marine gave us a real taste of Armenian flavours. The house is spacious and comfortable with modern furnitures. It's a gem right at the beginning of a beautiful trail in the mountains. Highly recommended!

Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.

This a great place with beautiful nature around, lots of hikes in the region. The owners are nice and the camping is beautifully and creatively decorated. There is a lot of different spots to seat, and everything you need in the kitchen. I stayed in a wooden deck and it was amazing. I booked 2 nights and stayed 5! I definitely recommend this camping and I will be back !

If you want a glimpse of life in an authentic Armenian village home then this place is for you. I would recommend ordering their dinner if you would like to try wholesome local food. Their homemade wine was exellent - better than those I tried at the local wine tasting venues. The hostess was really helpful in giving me suggestions on places to visit in the area. I loved my time here.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Karo and his family are incredibly pleasant and helpful. We used the shuttle service, and Karo went above and beyond, showing us various attractions and even stopping at our request—all without any extra charge. The added touch of Armenian music made it even more special. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of the valley. Breakfast was delightful, and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner with wine. As a vegetarian, I appreciated their thoughtful menu, which featured tasty options just for me. We even shared a warm hug at the end of our stay and were treated to some lovely wine. I can't recommend this place enough and would love to return!

The rooms were very cozy, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very good customer service. You can also find a food court, super market and farmacy just next door. I would definitely recommend it.
