Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the incredibly lovely hostess. She was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly made us feel at home. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay with exceptional hospitality. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!

Absolutely marvelous location! The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and the host was incredibly friendly. All of this at a really good price—honestly, I can’t even say how amazing the whole experience was!

An excellent choice for being close to Haghpat Monastery and viewing beautiful Debed Canyon. Our hosts, Mary and her family were such beautiful and kind helpful people. Lovely clean and comfortable room with air conditioning and a great shower. We spent 3 nights here and it was a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying walks and soaking up the wonderful vibe and scenery early morning and early evening when it was quiet and the gorgeous sunsets were spectacular. The cooking was exceptional. We ate breakfast and dinner at the tavern and Mary our host provided us with delicious home made butter, jams, cheeses, honey and various home cooked meals which were fine examples of beautiful Armenian cuisine. Mary speaks excellent English so was easily able to help us with any queries. I highly recommend Haghpat Hotel.

Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3
