Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the incredibly lovely hostess. She was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly made us feel at home. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay with exceptional hospitality. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!

An excellent choice for being close to Haghpat Monastery and viewing beautiful Debed Canyon. Our hosts, Mary and her family were such beautiful and kind helpful people. Lovely clean and comfortable room with air conditioning and a great shower. We spent 3 nights here and it was a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying walks and soaking up the wonderful vibe and scenery early morning and early evening when it was quiet and the gorgeous sunsets were spectacular. The cooking was exceptional. We ate breakfast and dinner at the tavern and Mary our host provided us with delicious home made butter, jams, cheeses, honey and various home cooked meals which were fine examples of beautiful Armenian cuisine. Mary speaks excellent English so was easily able to help us with any queries. I highly recommend Haghpat Hotel.

Thanks Marina and all the best for you! You cared for me as a mother, cooking amazing breakfasts with something different everyday. The food was tasty and plentiful so I did not need to eat anything until evening.The location of the house was perfect for hiking and enjoying the stunning views of the canyon along the Debet River as well as visiting the monasteries of Sanahin, Haghpat and Akhtala. All the house was really clean and spotless including the bathroom. Unbeatable value for money!
