Zaritap guesthouse features a very high standard of facilities, a really nice garden to hang out and a beautiful living room with a massive window into the garden. Everything was brand new. The staff was very polite and courteous. The value for money is excellent! We spent a rest day there reading which it was perfect for.

We had an amazing relaxing stay for three nights. Location is very peaceful surrounded by beautiful fruit trees. We chose the smaller cottage, which was just fine for two of us. Very clean, beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed preparing our meals in little private outdoor kitchen or bbq. Host is very helpful and friendly. As well as the cute cats and Taiga dog. In short walking distance there is a beautiful river and historical silk road bridge to visit. We got also cool experience with Uaz bukhanka.

This place is simply amazing and no words to describe the beauty of the location, but also the hospitality of Marine and her family. The food was exceptional and Marine gave us a real taste of Armenian flavours. The house is spacious and comfortable with modern furnitures. It's a gem right at the beginning of a beautiful trail in the mountains. Highly recommended!

Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.
