Beautiful Gutshof set in a beautiful area. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Good self-catering facilities. We hiked to the Alpsee and then to the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles through some beautiful forests. Will definitely stay here again when we have the opportunity. Vielen lieben Dank!

Room was very big and comfy, had basic kitchen equipment (boiler, fridge etc). The room is in a complex with multiple rooms and there was a shared kitchen in the building where one could cook. Overall aligned with pictures and price paid, cheaper compared to other options in the area.

Gintherhof epitomises genuine guest house hospitality in a way that no hotel, however smart or expensive, can possibly match. From exquisite antique linens to highest quality down duvets, to the provision of hiking rucksacks to borrow, the thought and care by Annelies and her parents was heartwarming. The farmhouse is full of charm and interesting artefacts at every turn, the pine panelled bedrooms so cosy and inviting. Breakfast was off the scale - in addition to fresh fruits, nuts, cereals and yoghurts, there was a vast selection of homemade breads and jams, with cheeses, hams, local eggs and other savoury delights. We were even given bags and encouraged to make a packed lunch for ourselves! We left feeling restored and grateful for such kindness and friendship. What a welcome we will never forget.

Extraordinary located (several fantastic places to visit nearby) very comfortable and friendly place. The staff is very open and helpful, a big advantage are the soundproof walls which make you feel being the only hotel guest on site. Highly recommend, will definitevly come back.

    Very friendly and helpful owners. Excellent location, Plenty of safe parking, well equipped spacious quiet rooms with beautiful views. Pet friendly. Excellent facilities include a fitness room and sauna & a room to relax and chill. If you arrive late there is a small shop within the facility to have a suitable meal for a family. Drinks are plenty and varied including beer and wine. Fresh rolls can be ordered for your breakfast. A super value package.

    Great location and beautiful surroundings! Our host was very responsive to any questions. This is an excellent option for a large family or group. Parking and checking in were very easy. There are stairs, so keep that in mind if anyone has mobility issues. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The option to bring our own items and cook or to purchase something from the larder were great, too! We look forward to returning again in the future.

    I liked that there was enough parking space. Also you could sit outside if you want to. Taking the dog with you is free, which was also nice.

    First of all, spectacular landscape and location, surrounded by the mountains, super quiet at night, 10 minutes away from Fussen (Germany) where all the restaurants and services are, 15 minutes away from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. Very cozy room with a good bathroom, a small kitchen. Sauna, games room and minimarket at disposal. Self check-in was super easy. No problem at all with parking. Totally recommended!
