We stayed in Greg’s property for 1 night in Oct., 2024. Greg was a very nice and welcoming host, and the lodge was clean. The breakfast was also great! Some of the facilities (e.g. the fridge in our lodge) isn’t fully working due to cyclone Jasper’s damage. However, it was totally understandable as the entire area hasn’t fully recovered from the damage yet, and Greg did his best to make things as comfortable as possible. The free WiFi in room was working and was in reasonable speed. We highly recommend staying in Greg’s property when visiting Daintree / Diwan area!

One of the most special places we’ve stayed at. Charming cottages in the middle of the rain forest, very intimate, good food at the restaurant and Jason being a great host. 9 cassowaries over two days of which one was at the lodge!

Location is brilliant, eco-friendly policies, very sweet staff. Incredible access to wildlife and the creek. Our own fridge. Room designed well for living in a rainforest. Amazing cuisine, extensive catering for a gluten-free diet. Wifi availability in such a remote area.

We recently stayed at The Ridge House with our two young children and had the most incredible family experience. The house is absolutely amazing, tucked away in nature with breathtaking views. We were so impressed by how everything is done with such respect for the nature, from the decor to the stunning views, this house was created to honor both the environment and the human spirit. The environment is great, and the experience is quite different from city life. I really enjoyed the arrangement of the place, which makes it close to the jungle. I can hear the birds singing, and raindrops hitting the roof of the Bungalow.
